Content design and strategy meetup - Department of Christmas Affairs

When:  Dec 15, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 01:30 PM (ET)
Note: Your calendar invite will be adjusted to your local time. The event time is set to Canberra, Melbourne, and Sydney.

The Department of Christmas Affairs (DCA) are the official caretakers of the Naughty and Nice List.

This year, the DCA's innovative IT develfopers have been working hard on a new and improved Naughty and Nice list, featuring:

  • real-time naughty or nice status updates thanks to a live feed from the Global Behaviour Tracking Network's Data and Analytics Networked Compliance Enforcement Register (otherwise known as D.A.N.C.E.R)
  • the ability to check your list twice, to make sure you're nice, on a mobile device
  • a responsive search function that lets you easily check the naughty or nice status of family, friends, colleagues and frenemies
  • state-of-the-art cybersecurity controls and the highest level of encryption to ensure your Christmas data remains safe and secure
  • the ability to raise a dispute and have your naughty status reviewed if you disagree with the DCA's findings.
Millie Cleary and Clayton Smith will join our meetup to share the story and strategy behind the DCA and the joy it brings at Christmas each year.
