Hi Sarah,
I don't use it in my current role at the NLA (although the idea has been floated around), but I did experiment with it in a previous role at the NPG. It's hard to say whether it was worthwhile in the long-term (because I left) but the sort term results looked promising for website conversions.
Pinterest is a long-term game and only very useful for evergreen content. I found it best to think about it as another search engine to tap into, rather than a social channel for community building/engagement.
While at the NPG we experimented with Pinterest's 'Story Pins' (kind of like a mix between Stories and Reels), which were new at the time, and worked closely with the Pinterest Australia team (who were amazing) to develop a strategy for them.

Subject: Use of Pinterest
Hi everyone,
We've been doing some research into the best platforms to engage our audiences, and one of the platforms that has been identified is Pinterest.
We don't currently have a Pinterest page, but wanted to reach out to this community to see if anyone else has used the platform and what their experience was?
Thanks very much!
